About Me
I am a content developer who began working in the museum sector in 1995, spending most of that time working in curatorial and education roles. From 2007 to July 2021 I was Curator of Education & Collections at the award-wining Britannia Mine Museum in BC. In my time in the museum sector I worked as content lead on several multi-million dollar capital projects.
For the last few years I also ran a small, sideline business offering interpretive planning and writing to clients. Clients included BC's Sea to Sky Gondola and newly opened (in 2021) Malahat Skywalk.
In July of 2021, I joined the Great Resignation and left the employment world to run my consultancy business full time. I work both as an independent contractor and subcontractor to design firms. As a subcontractor, I am the content developer for Vancouver's Panther Creative exhibit design company. Recent clients I have worked for include the City of Richmond, the Museum of North Vancouver & Archives, and the Nova Scotia Natural History Museum, among others.
